Dear Raider Students and Families,

Welcome back to another exciting school year at Ramblewood Middle School! I am honored and excited to welcome our Raider students and families to the 2026–2027 school year. We begin this year with great pride, enthusiasm, and a continued commitment to excellence in all that we do.

This year is especially meaningful as Ramblewood Middle School celebrates its 50th anniversary. For five decades, Ramblewood has served as a place where students learn, grow, lead, and create lasting memories. Throughout this benchmark year, we look forward to celebrating our proud history and bright future with special events, schoolwide recognitions, Raider spirit activities, family engagement opportunities, and community celebrations that honor the legacy of Ramblewood Middle School.

We are also proud to share that Ramblewood Middle School has earned an A school rating for the third consecutive year. This outstanding achievement is the result of a combined effort that begins with the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of our students, along with the unwavering commitment of our teachers, staff, and families. It reflects our shared belief in excellence, high expectations, and the power of working together as one Raider Nation.

As we move into this new school year, please know that we remain committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and supportive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Our goal is to ensure that each Raider feels valued, challenged, encouraged, and prepared for success.

I also want our families to know that I maintain an open-door policy. Your voice, partnership, and support are essential to our continued success. I encourage you to reach out, ask questions, share ideas, and stay connected throughout the school year. I am Alice Tatoute and am thrilled to introduce myself as your Assistant Principal. It is an honor to be a part of the Raider Nation.

As we embark on a new school year, I am excited about the wonderful opportunities and experiences ahead. Our collective goal is to create a positive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.

At Ramblewood Middle School, we believe that education is not just about academics; it's about developing well-rounded individuals who are prepared for the future. As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “Intelligence plus character, that is the goal of true education.” Together, we will strive to instill these values in our students, guiding them to reach their highest potential and preparing them to be their best as they soar to the next level.

I am committed to working collaboratively with our exceptional staff, supportive parents, and the entire community to ensure the success and well-being of our students. Your partnership and involvement are invaluable as we work together to provide the best possible educational experience for our children.

Throughout the year, I look forward to getting to know each of you and building strong, lasting relationships. We encourage you to regularly review your child’s grades in FOCUS and engage with them in conversations about their school experiences. Your interest and support in their academic journey will inspire them to achieve their best. Additionally, maintaining open communication with your child’s teachers and staff will help foster a strong and successful home-school partnership.

Dear Ramblewood Middle School Students and Families,

Welcome back to our returning students, and a very special welcome to all of our new students joining the Ramblewood Middle School family. Whether you are continuing your journey with us or stepping onto our campus for the first time, we are excited to begin another year of learning, growth, leadership, and Raider pride together.

This year is especially meaningful as Ramblewood Middle School celebrates 50 years of excellence. For five decades, Raider Nation has represented achievement, resilience, school spirit, and a strong commitment to helping every student reach their full potential. We are also proud to celebrate being recognized as an A+ school for the third year in a row, an accomplishment made possible through the hard work of our students, the dedication of our teachers and staff, and the continued support of our families and community.

As your assistant principal, my educational philosophy centers on three important beliefs: students must be actively involved in their school experience, teaching and learning must remain our highest priority, and families play a vital role in supporting student growth. When students are engaged, when educators are committed to strong instruction, and when parents and guardians partner with us, our campus becomes a place where every child can succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

To our students: I encourage you to get involved, try something new, ask questions, make positive choices, and take pride in your learning every day. Your voice, effort, and participation matter. It is with great enthusiasm, gratitude, and a profound sense of honor that I welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year as the 8th Grade Assistant Principal at Ramblewood Middle School. I am truly excited to be a part of this exceptional school community during such a historic occasion as we commemorate our 50th Anniversary and celebrate "50 Years of Excellence."

For five decades, Ramblewood Middle School has exemplified a steadfast commitment to academic distinction, educational innovation, and student achievement. Our continued recognition as an "A" Rated School is a testament to the collective dedication of our outstanding educators, supportive families, engaged students, and committed community partners. I am honored to be part of this remarkable legacy and look forward to contributing to its continued tradition of excellence.

As an educational leader, I believe that every student possesses extraordinary potential. My commitment is to cultivate an environment where intellectual curiosity flourishes, academic perseverance is celebrated, and every learner feels empowered to pursue excellence. I am passionate about fostering rigorous instruction, encouraging critical thinking, promoting collaborative problem-solving, and supporting the development of resilient, compassionate, and responsible young adults who are prepared for future success.

Beyond the classroom, I strongly encourage all students to become actively involved in the vibrant opportunities Ramblewood has to offer. Participation in clubs, athletics, fine arts, leadership organizations, academic competitions, and service-learning experiences enriches the educational journey by building confidence, strengthening interpersonal skills, nurturing creativity, and fostering meaningful relationships. These experiences play an essential role in developing well-rounded scholars and engaged citizens.

The eighth-grade year represents a pivotal milestone in every student's educational journey. As our students prepare for the exciting transition to high school, my goal is to provide guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support while maintaining high expectations for academic achievement, integrity, accountability, and personal

growth. Together, we will celebrate accomplishments, embrace challenges as opportunities for learning, and inspire every student to reach their fullest potential.

I firmly believe that strong partnerships between school and home are the cornerstone of student success. Open communication, mutual respect, and shared commitment create the conditions in which students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. I look forward to collaborating with our families throughout the year as we work together to ensure every child experiences a rewarding and successful middle school journey.
